Deputy Superintendent Courtney Coubrie, operations officer at the Traffic headquarters, pulls over this taxi driver in Half-Way Tree. The police and members of the Transport Authority were busy in Half-Way Tree in St Andrew yesterday removing registration plates from taxis and buses with heavy tint and music equipment.

A member of the Transport Authority removes licence plates from this taxi as the driver in (background) seems in disbelief.

Step 3

Deputy Superintendent Coubrie now has the plates, which will mean the taxi driver, walking away in the background, will have to remove his tint and have his car passed before he can operate.
