Milani eyeshadows in flare and enchanment, Mac eyeshadows in midnight and melton mauve are colours that can be blended to create the season's hottest shades. These colours are available at Anne Martin.
Experience is the best teacher and we know Flair readers demand the best, especially when it comes on to finding the best products and techniques in make-up and skin care.
So we pulled on the knowledge of four beauty professionals to tell you which eyeshadow, lip colour, mascara and foundation they enjoy using and working with. But they also give you a tried and true tip for improving your look.
Take a peek into their make-up totes and you might just find some new lessons worth learning. Or, maybe you will realise you've been heeding what the experts have been saying all along.
Foundation (cream to powder)
"There are two types I like - Mac and Iman. However, I prefer Iman because it's much easier to find the right shades. The finish is so natural and flawless that you don't look like you're wearing make-up."
Tip: Pat foundation into the skin - it allows for more even distribution and it's gentler on the skin.

Eyeshadow
"I use a variety of brands but I like MAC because what you see is what you get. So if you see red, you get red." They also have a wide selection of finishes including matte, metallic, pigments and cream. "However, if you find that you don't want to spend a whole lot, try Milani." This brand allows for a variety of colours, which are also bold and long-lasting.
Tip: Make your eyes pop by using a lighter-colour shadow on the inner corner of your eye or a white eyeliner (instead of black) to line the water line of your eyes.

Mascara
L'Oréal Voluminous mascara in carbon black. "It gives you length, definition and volume."
Tip: Cover tube with your thumb while applying the product. It prevents too much air entering the tube and makes it last longer. Also wipe the wand of excess product before replacing. This helps to prevent clumps.

Lip colour
"I like any gloss because it's the trend. It makes your lips look more kissable and keeps it moist." She appreciates brands with a little extra like 'Full for you by MAC' which contains a plumping ingredient. However, she recommends experimenting with a variety of brands and shades and to find shades you too will enjoy. "I have like, five in my bag," she said of all different brands, shades and prices.
Tip: Moisturise lips with a vitamin E stick before applying either lipstick or gloss as it prevents cracks and helps to give lips an even colour.
