The Red Bull Queen
Working on the Lifestyle desk since 2004 has been great! In fact, I don't think I could be comfortable on any other desk. The members of the team have been very friendly and easy to work with.

I am friendly with everyone too and we are more like a family in the 'Bermuda rectangle' as my supervisor Barbara Ellington calls it. But, in every family, some people are closer knitted together than others. My 'paree' and lunch partner is Latoya Grindley. She came on the desk about a year ago, fresh out of the radio unit (Power 106) and sat next to me. From then, we became 'peas in a pod'.

Runway walk

Working with Latoya has been fun. Even when I tease her about the way she walks (like she is on a runway), she just laughs and shrugs me off. But, that's just how we are. She also teases me about being moody, but we both know that's just how we cope with the stressful work environment - we have to laugh a little.

Latoya is fun and though she no longer sits directly beside me, we are still close. Plus, outside of work we are friends and we go out a lot. Therefore, it is only fitting that as her friend, almost every day, I faithfully accompany her for her Red Bull pep-up - but don't tell her I told you.

How could I leave out that she is the only one I know who eats one little spot in the fish and leaves the rest of the fish untouched!
