"The project is one that is held dearly by the members of the Club as Kiwanis' main focus is Young Children: Priority One and enhancing young children's early childhood development is key to ensuring we positively shape the lives of tomorrow's future leaders," said Patrich Dinnall, president of the Kiwanis Club of Mona.

"A playground caters to the physical needs of young children by encouraging exercise and meaning-ful physical growth."

The project was completed at a value of $255,000 and was made possible through donations, a grant from the Kiwanis Foundation of Jamaica and the club's fund-raising activities.
