There are few Jamaicans that I admire more than Father Richard Ho Lung.
He is very vocal on the issue of abortion.
Some time ago he made a free choice to forgo his own right to procreate. Celibacy is not required by the Bible; the practice began some 300 years after Christ.
Now, as a man and a celibate priest, it seems to me that this whole issue of a woman's right to freely choose to bear children, when and if she wants to is a race in which Father Ho Lung has no horse.
I am, etc.,
