Western Bureau:

Wednesday night's fête at Jamaica Tamboo in Negril offered the perfect escape for Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI) lovers to let loose and officially kick-off an extended weekend of partying.

Under the musical tutelage of the Renaissance selectors, ATI revellers were given an opportunity to excite their entertainment craving, which ATI is expected to fulfil right up to Sunday.

While the venue could accommodate all the patrons inside, most chose to massage their toes in the sand outdoors and dance to the musical thud of hip hop and dancehall favourites.

Whether it was the alcoholic mixture of Appleton and Coke or the rush from a Red Bull energy drink, the more-than-1,500 revellers converged on the beach-front property and danced until the wee hours of the morning. All they left behind was the hope the party would never end.

Among the list of ATI activities that will take place are Pretty in Pink, Rhythm and Booze and ATI Toga Party today, Stages, Jokers Wild Colours and Appleton Temptation Live tomorrow and the grand finale parties of Wildsides and Fusion on Sunday.

The beautiful mess which is Hip Hop J'Ouvert and Tempted Glow took place yesterday.

It was an absolutely entertaining night on Wednesday to kick off the ATI series of parties at Jamaica Tamboo in Negril and these partygoers loved every moment of it.
