Last Wednesday, Stewart Automotive Group rolled out the red carpet for their special guests.
As one of the sponsors of this year's Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), the automotive giants took some of their loyal customers to Mac's Chop House in Trinidad Terrace, New Kingston, to sample the delectable KRW menu.
It was not only about KRW, however. Stewart Automotive Group is celebrating 70 years in the business in Jamaica. The company wanted to celebrate with some of the loyal customers who helped get them there. Known for flagship brands like Suzuki and BMW, they also provide other automotive services.
One of the directors, Diana Stewart, in a brief welcome, thanked customers for their loyalty and said the company hoped to soon exceed last year's profits.
But what seemed to give her even further pride was introducing some of her grandchildren, the next generation.
Specially invited guest, Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser, was the centre of the children's attention, as they dined with her.
Guests included: Jackie Stewart Lechler, Debbie Stewart, Duncan Stewart, Carl Cameron of Budget Rent-a-Car , Frank Jackson G4S Security, Michael Lodenquai Continental Baking Company, Phil Stepp Ameco, Dulcie Moody Island Car Rentals, Desmond Grant lecturer at the University of Technology.
